You can delete your FightWell account and its data at any time. This page explains how to do it from inside the app, how to request deletion if you no longer have the app installed, and exactly what gets removed.
Delete from inside the app
Open FightWell and go to Settings.
Scroll to Delete Account.
Confirm twice — the second step is the point of no return.
Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
If you can't access the app
If you've uninstalled FightWell or can't sign in, email support@fightwell.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your account and sign-in credentials.
Your name, email address, and profile picture.
Every situation in your space, along with all shared and private messages in them.
Summaries the Guide generated from those conversations.
Your device's notification registration.
Deleting your account also deletes your shared space — including your partner's side of it. FightWell spaces belong to the couple, not to one person, so the situations and messages you created together are removed for both of you. Your partner keeps their own account, but the shared history is gone. There is no way to delete only your half.
What we keep
We retain a small amount of information after deletion where we're required to or where it contains nothing that identifies you:
Anonymous usage statistics. Counts and timings keyed to a random identifier that no longer resolves to a person once your account is gone. These never contain message content.
Records we're legally required to keep, such as those needed for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Routine server logs, which are rotated on a short cycle in the ordinary course of operating the service.
